It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Okay, yes I know we haven’t had Thanksgiving and usually I’m a stickler for making sure we give our day of thanks it’s credit… buuuuut this year I dodged the hosting bullet and we can never have enough Christmas! So, I took down the Fall decor and Christmas decor has exploded all throughout my house mid-November! Don’t judge.

Since we now live by a lake (yes we are blessed), this year’s “theme” consists of a classy cabin vibe. Buffalo check or plaid (however you like to classify it), ice skates, bears with fishing poles, lanterns and the like.

How cute is this little guy?

I’ve stuck with mostly red ornaments with touches of black and white for the color scheme. I wanted to incorporate a lot of natural elements with wooden ornaments throughout.

Fun ice skates with a touch of birchwood.

I added some “class” with beautiful red, black and white glass ornaments I snagged last year during Target’s after Christmas clearance.

I think our tree came out quite lovely and we can enjoy it for a few extra days this holiday season. Hope you found some inspiration to get decorating your tree as well!
