Teacher gifts

I’m a sworn Pinaholic, and have had my hand at a few successful DIY’s… I saw some really cute teeny succulent pots Pinned for wedding decor and thought what a cute little thank you gift – maybe teachers might appreciate them too! So here’s a little “thank you” idea for the teachers.

Get whoever wants to volunteer to paint mini terra cotta pots white (or whatever color you go with) – I found these in the garden section at Walmart. Other stores like Hobby Lobby and Michaels have them as well.

I found these cute page flags in the Dollar Spot at Target (LOVE that section!!!)

With the fine tip of the sharpie write out what you’d like – we said “Thank you for helping me GROW!” and on the back side I glued another flag with their signature.

After 2 coats of white craft paint and letting them dry overnight…

I hot-glued this fun lacey ribbon in different colors around each pot.

Place succulents in pots and add a touch of water to help them settle in.  Add little thank you flags and you’re done!

I hope the teachers love them and feel appreciated!
