If you’ve ever been to Torchy’s you know that the pickled red onions are the jam… and if you haven’t, that’s ok too – but I’ve gotta say you’re sadly missing out! I’ve decided to try out this simple fridge pickled red onions recipe so we can have them readily on hand for our homemade tacos and tostadas. Simple ingredients – you can easily double the recipe too I just don’t have any empty large canning jars currently!
Recipe: 1/2 large red onion • 1 tbs. sugar • 1/2 tbs. salt • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar • 1 cup warm water – that’s it!
Directions: Let sit overnight in the fridge and you have pickled red onions to top your yummy meals.
